Look through the different sections of the design process.
Chasing the Sun and Waves was an incredible experience and collaboration with PRANA. Creating a pattern for a clothing collection was such a joy!
1_RESEARCH AND IDEATION

During the research process, I explored different vacation locations to inspire and deviate design from. I landed on Taiwan and explain through the presentation why.
It became important to see what kind of work already existed in the field and to see what could be done to elevate what existed or meet needs that were not being met.
Creating. a phrase or asset title to the project helped to create visual cohesion and provide the feelings of what a winter getaway are to invoke and how important the land becomes to that.
3_ASSETS AND DESIGN
The assets consist of a single motif being repeated and tiled in different ways to create drastically different effects of the same pattern.
